On This Day (yesterday) 2009: The wreck of Australian Hospital Ship Centaur was located after a search of 8 days. The wreck was found 30 nautical miles (56 km) east of Moreton Island, resting 2,059 m (6,755 ft) below sea level in a steep-walled gully.
